Ever notice you just can’t feel anymore; just going through the motions? Or maybe feeling like the emotional dam has given way and flooded your experience, leaving you just trying to keep your head above water? Sometimes a series of stressful events can accumulate and overwhelm us. If we are disconnected from or overly immersed within feelings, we may not understand what our feelings might be trying to communicate to us about our needs. Therapy can provide a quiet and safe place to find footing again, and clarity about how to move forward in a balanced and meaningful way.
