II am a therapist because I believe it is what I was made to do and consider it an honor to be a part of another person’s journey toward healing. During over 2 decades of counseling, I have learned that I never stop learning--about people, about healing, about what is helpful and what is not. I never grow tired of hearing people’s stories. I am grateful for this because the newness of helping remains fresh and I am able to approach each person from a place of authentic respect and curiosity. I know that I am being invited to do sacred work.

My offering as a counselor is to walk alongside adults living with symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, perinatal mental health, postpartum issues, infertility, parenting, mid-life, retirement, and family challenges as they search for understanding, hope, and health. In the therapeutic relationship, I seek first to connect by learning about who you are and your vision for your life. I am curious about the distance between where you are and where you’d like to be and, in partnership with you, explore ways to narrow that gap. In our work together, the focus is on encouraging you, your strengths, and your innate resilience to move toward spiritual, emotional, and psychological health.
