We spend a majority of our time in our heads, why not make it a nice place to be? As humans, we will often come across experiences and emotions that may be difficult to manage. Maybe we weren’t taught the appropriate skills on how to process them or maybe it’s difficult to do it alone. Whatever it might be that is preventing you from being the best version of yourself, lets explore it together!

I have a humanistic approach to therapy, meaning I emphasize the importance of developing self-acceptance, through the process of identifying our “true self,” in order to live a more fulfilling life. Everyone lives a unique life with unique experiences, therefore learning how we view ourselves and others can impact how we heal and connect with others. I also practice through a feminist and multicultural lens, where we work to understand difficulties specific to your culture and using empowerment to address power and oppression.

I have strong experience working with systems (family, peers, relationships, etc.), PTSD, religious trauma, mood disorders, women’s issues, and more! Typical models I utilize include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt, Existential, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Adlerian. I work with couples, families, individuals and groups. I also provide short-term pre-martial work (with the availability for long-term as needed) and this counts towards a pre-martial class discount for your marriage license.

I look forward to working alongside you in this journey towards growth!
