Depression Therapy

The majority of the time we find that depression is a symptom of unresolved life altering events, childhood or relational trauma, major life transitions, and the like. We think of it as the disintegration of self, meaning, and purpose in life, that occurs in the wake of these significant life altering events. In therapy, we support the reintegration of self, meaning, and purpose in life and discover ways of adapting to these events. With that clarity we can feel more open and ready to embrace life again.
